Short drum sedimentation centrifuge
The short drum sedimentation centrifuge is similar to the sedimentation centrifuge with sieve Deli standard. As long as the settling speed of solids in the mother liquor is high enough, the short drum settling centrifuge can be used to separate very fine solids. Although the settling section of the centrifuge is shorter than that of the standard settling centrifuge, the clarification of the liquid is sufficient to be completed in this area. The development of short drum sedimentation centrifuge is mainly aimed at some materials with large density difference between solid and liquid, even very small solids, which can be separated by short drum sedimentation centrifuge as long as the sedimentation speed is high enough. The rotating part of the short drum sedimentation centrifuge adopts the single bearing cantilever design. The proportion of the sedimentation section and the drying section (cone section) is determined by the material characteristics, which is realized by adjusting the overflow weir plate. The design of this equipment is especially suitable for the food industry that needs thorough cleaning (CIP applicable), operation at high temperature or air tightness process.
